Abstract :
A new version of the MIL-I-6181B has been issued as MIL-I-006181C (USAF) with the following changes: a. Limits, approved instrumentation, measuring techniques are included for the frequency range from 0.15 to 10,000 megacycles. b. The line stabilization network is now limited to use on primary input power lines of 50 amperes and under. c. A new method of measuring conducted interference is included. d. A new measurement technique is included for measuring broad-band interference. This technique uses impulse generators or secondary standards and greatly reduces measurement time and increases the accuracy of measurements. e. Ground equipment used in conjunction with Weapons and Supporting Systems is now included. f. Susceptibility requirements are more stringent to ensure proper operation of equipment in missiles and high signal density areas. g. Measuring procedures have been clarified and additional information given so that different laboratories will be using uniform practices.
