Abstract :
This contribution presents the concept and implementation of a novel architecture for cognitive technical systems, which is methodically based on situation-operator-modeling realizing the representation of the real world´s structure in a unique and homogeneous manner. It is realized by high-level Petri nets and a related software tool providing graphical modeling and simulation. As a special feature, several instances of the cognitive architecture can be combined to reduce the complexity of the real world by a problem-oriented encapsulation of different action spaces. Finally, an example focusing the interaction of an agent in a dynamic environment is given.
