Abstract :
We report the first experimental demonstration on 40 Gbit/s all-optical format conversions from NRZ to CSRZ, from NRZ to RZ, and from NRZ-DPSK to RZ-DPSK by using a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide.
