John Woodhouse biography

John is Managing Director of TWPL, one of the world´s leading Asset Management training and consulting companies, providing guidance to blue-chip clients in 25 countries and most industry sectors. He is also a Council Member, the Chair of Faculty and first Fellow of the UK Institute of Asset Management. He chairs the Development and Standards Committee and was Project Director for the development of the BSI PAS 55 standard. From ´95–´00, he was project manager, on behalf of the UK Government, for the European MACRO project, developing risk-based methods for optimized Asset Management decision-making. He is currently managing the SALVO R&D programme, addressing the optimal renewal timing for aging assets. John is a visiting lecturer on various Masters degree programmes, and wrote the book “Managing Industrial Risk” (Chapman & Hall, 1993). He is a member of the UK Safety & Reliability Society and has a Masters Degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
