Abstract :
This paper proposes a distributed application layer multicast model based on central ring carousel algorithm. The model employs ring as the basic topology units, and constructs carousel on each central node. GT-ITM topology generator is used to generate the topology. The simulation results prove that CRCL has high transmission efficiency, less convergence time while it also has ideal average path length. The model guarantees its performance in streaming media application.
