  • Abstract
This paper presents voltage and frequency stabilisation methods of a hybrid wind-diesel power system. A technique for power sharing between a wind energy conversion system and a diesel generator system is also addressed during the wind-diesel hybrid operation. The output voltage and frequency of the wind energy conversion system is controlled by a load side converter. The voltage and frequency of diesel generators are controlled by exciter and governor. The control system is tested on a simulated wind-diesel hybrid system on different loading and wind conditions.
