Abstract :
This paper firstly introduced the basic idea of task requirement driven sensor management (TRDSM) and analyzed the task requirement of target tracking. Then, a new approach is proposed to deal with the multi-sensor management problem. The new method uses centralized management model to control sensors and the method comprehensively considers target priority and sensor usage cost. Then, sensors resource is properly allocated to targets according to the degree of task requirement. With regard to NP complete problem in the course of allocation, an improved ant colony algorithm was researched for finding out the optimization sensors combination. The simulation results show that, under guarantying tracking precision condition, the method could properly allocate sensors resource to targets based on the degree of tasks requirement. The proposed method could obviously shorten working time of active sensor, which is greatly helpful for subsistence.
