Abstract :
As a new pain treatment method, radio frequency (RF) ablation received rapid application and development in the treatment of pain disease in the medicine field. In this paper, we introduce the structure of hardware components and major program modules of the RF treatment system for nerve ache. In the treatment, since the RF trocar is in the body and the body is a perplexing heat exchange system, we cannot get an accurate model for temperature control. We propose a new two dimensional fuzzy control algorithm to effectively control the temperature of the RF trocar. The object free 2D fuzzy control algorithm is improved to save computer time and reduce memory space. We use two stages in the temperature control. The first ensures the heating rate to hit the appropriate temperature. The second helps to maintain the steady temperature. Experiment results shows a good temperature control and acceptable errors with the algorithm.
