Abstract :
A new analysis method of reliability test data about low-voltage electrical appliance is proposed based on grey theory, which can be applied to solve small sample size problem. The conception, that is called ¿gray stability¿, is first proposed and defined notion and derivation of mathematical expression. It has important engineering significance in the field of reliability. The test data about electrical contact reliability of electromagnetic relay is processed and analyzed, so property conclusion is acquired. The efficiency and applicability of this analysis method is demonstrated by an application example. The method is applicable for different products in the same test environment for one or several indicators to be chosen less test samples. The appliance of grey stability can obtain the numerical simulation based on characteristic of small samples, so it´s better to reflect features of the overall products through analyzing the samples of gray stability.
