  • Abstract
Asphalt pavement Performance evaluation is a multiattribute decision-making issue, including qualitative factors, quantitative factors, as certain information and uncertain information. The traditional evaluation methods tend to be affected by the subjective factors which will affect the accuracy of the outcome. Based on improving and analyzing the existing evaluation system, adopting evidence reasoning approach, a new evaluation model of pavement performance was established. This model can achieve the combination of certainty and uncertainty information, and is convenient to deal with the multi-attribute comprehensive evaluation problem with the incomplete information, so that the evaluation results will be more actual. Combining examples and carring on verification, the model of evidence reasoning approach applied in pavement performance evaluation is effective and feasible.
