Abstract :
In order to reduce the peak load demand in power grid, an optimal air conditioner load control strategy is proposed based on ant colony algorithm (ACA). The scheduling strategy not only shed the required load at each sampling time, but also minimized the power supplying company´s revenue loss. The customer satisfactory and the equipment life are considered in the optimal strategy as constraint. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by the simulation results.
