Abstract :
The heat transfer performance of carbon dioxide in a horizontal tube with water in counter flow was experimentally investigated in this paper. The results indicate that the changes of inlet pressure, mass flow rate and cooling water flow rate have major effects on heat transfer performance. The coefficient and heat transfer capacity can be improved by increasing inlet pressure, mass flow rate and cooling water flow rate. The variation of inlet temperature has none effects on heat transfer coefficient. And the heat transfer coefficient of carbon dioxide inside the tube is further greater than that of water outside the tube. Enhancement heat transfer should be adopted in outside.
