  • Abstract
    The phasor solution method is a new high-efficiency simulation method for power system analysis. In this paper, using this new solution method, a model of the static VAR compensators (SVC) on a power transmission system is built, the steady-state and dynamic performance of the SVC is simulated. The result shows that the phasor solution method can reduce simulation time greatly, and has good precision.
