Abstract :
A test system using Virtual Polarization Adaptation (VPA) technique to simulate the target return signals of variable-polarization radar is studied in this paper. This test system can be used to testify the performance of polarimetric radar signal processing and evaluate the effectiveness of polarization agile jammers. Several issues about typical polarization agile jammers are discussed along with their suppression methods.
