Abstract :
In this work, we present a fast interactive road extraction algorithm to extract roads from SAR imagery. After cross-correlation line detection, the detected road candidate pixels are vectorized for line segments. From the set of the line segments, a weighted directed graph is built by connecting these detected segments. Based on the graph and pairs of seed points by human operator, the road network is completely extracted via shortest-path searching algorithm. Our experimental result shows our algorithm is able to quickly and correctly extract road network.
