Abstract
Many present spaceborne SAR systems are constrained to two channels to detect and measure moving targets on the ground. SAR-DPCA (Displaced phase centre antenna) is a suboptimal linear clutter filter and cancels the clutter perfectly regardless of the moving target signal. In this letter, the optimum linear clutter filter integrated with a prior information is proposed, which maximizes the output signal-to-clutter plus noise ratio (SCNR). The constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detectors, which include the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT), the adaptive matched filter (AMF) and the adaptive coherence estimator (ACE) technique, are exploited in a uniform analytical expression with performance comparisons. Simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
