  • Abstract
    A novel method to obtain low distance sidelobe level after accumulation based on inter-pulse code agility is proposed for phase-coded full-coherent radar. In this method, mainlobe to peak sidelobe ratio is improved after coherent integration because the main lobes of autocorrelation function among different codes are relevant while the side lobes are random. Genetic algorithm (GA) is adopted to search the optimal inter-pulse agility code group which can achieve lowest after-accumulation distance sidelobes from a mass of pseudo random sequences of the same length .The standard GA is ameliorated to fit this application. Computer simulation shows high searching efficiency and good optimizing effect of this method.
