Abstract :
Very high moving speed of targets challenges traditional echo models widely used. Three models of radar echoes are analyzed and compared in this paper. The appropriate model of high speed target echo of Noise frequency modulated (FM) signal and its applicable conditions are given. The -3dB mainlobe width of autocorrelation function of Noise FM signal is deduced to complete the applicable conditions. Due to the stochastic property, high speed target echo signals of random signal radar can´t be obtained by formulas directly, so interpolation is used to generate echo signals. The performance and computational cost of several interpolation methods are simulated and compared.
