Abstract :
Based on the theory of Duffing oscillator, a new method of Doppler processing for pseudo random-code continuous wave (PRC-CW) radar signal in strong-clutter background is presented in this paper. By identifying the state of the chaotic oscillator system, Doppler frequency-shift is detected in order to calculate the speed of the target and solve the problem of Doppler sensitivity of pulse compression. At the same time, a fast method is introduced to accelerate identifying the states of the chaotic system. In order to estimate the phase of the Doppler component and prove the validity under stochastic phase, the influence of phase separation is also discussed. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this new method.
