Abstract :
Controllable radiation pattern of 5 times 11 conformal antenna array is optimized by a hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA), which composes of the simplified quadratic interpolation (SQI) method and a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA). It is considerable to use this hybrid genetic algorithm to optimize amplitude weights of the elements to satisfy specified deep notches, nulls and average side-lobe level. It appears to be effective to use the HGA to compensate the mutual coupling effects on the single element pattern for the conformal antenna array.
