Abstract :
Borrowed ideas from the production process and management system of the modern manufacturing industry auto-assembly line, a new model of integrated software engineering environment based on product line is proposed and discussed. In this new model, the product line assets components are acted as standard parts supplied with the components bus of the product line development environment. The development environment above the bus will support the assembly line production of software products, and the parts under the bus will be traditional general purpose software development environment that supports the source code and documents development of the product line core asset components. Comparing with the current existing product line development environment models, the implementation of this new model development environment and its ability may be completely realize the automated production of software products, and similar to the assembly line production methods and management system of current manufacturing. Thus, this new model will be an ideal software development environment model for realizing the automated production of software product line.
