3D IS ALL THE RAGE right now as everything from cinema to printing seems to be breaking out of its two-dimensional straitjacket. Is it just a novelty or could it be the beginning of a revolution in how we access and interact with information? 3D is one of those recurring fads that refuses to lie down for good. The 1950s was the first golden age of 3D cinema, which brought such classics as ???It Came From Outer Space??? (???THRILLS that almost TOUCH YOU! Through the magic of 3-DIMENSION!) and the not-so classic ???Cat-Women of the Moon??? (???See the lost city of love-starved cat-women! They???re Fiery???Fearless??? Ferocious!???). And all the more terrifying viewed through red and green tinted cardboard spectacles.
