Abstract :
Adhesive wear, cutting wear, abrasion wear, contact fatigue wear and abrasive particle wear are the main wear forms. The principles of reduction wear, structure and composition, characteristics, adaptive area, economic and technologic characteristics are summed up and compared. It is a reference that how to select the techniques to reduce the casing wear synthetically in the field. Based on the contrast and analysis on the techniques for prevention and reduction of casing wear, an expert knowledge base of integrative prevention and reduction of casing wear is established. The program techniques of object oriented is used to develop the expert system for prevention and reduction of casing wear based on the rules. The suitable techniques of prevention and reduction of casing wear will be selected using this expert system according to the conditions in the oil field.
