  • Abstract
In order to address the problem of time constraints in the complex workflow system, in this paper temporal reasoning and simplification analysis of fuzzy timing Petri nets are proposed. Firstly, fuzzy temporal reasoning method of three basic workflow patterns based on fuzzy timing Petri net is presented, so that the total time delay formula for each pattern is obtained. Then, the simplification method for each basic workflow pattern based on fuzzy timing Petri nets is proposed according to fuzzy time equivalent transformation principles. Finally, an application example for foreign affairs approval model is introduced. The example shows that the fuzzy temporal reasoning method is both efficient in simplifying complex workflow model and calculating the node time parameters of workflow model to realize time constraints analysis of workflow model.
