Abstract :
The present paper gives a detailed analyzing to the influence that void volume and energy change acting on rock. It lays emphasis on the new constitutive parameter mathematical model to describe the quantify relation between the constitutive parameter and rock classification. Based on the energy change, the microstructure of rock was quantified and the principle as well as method of determination for constitutive parameter was provided. By the existing data, it was verified that the constitutive parameter and the existing evaluation methods of rock classification have good correlation. This fact proved it is reasonable to judge the rock stability classification by constitutive parameter method.
