  • Abstract
    A gear fault detection system, Virtual Instrument Diagnostic System, is developed by combining both advantages of VC++ and MATLAB and using the two hybrid programming method. The interface is designed by VC++ and the calculation of test data, signal processing and graphical display are completed by MATLAB. After conversion program converted in VC++ from *. m file is completed by interface software, a various multi-functional gear fault diagnosis software system is successfully designed. The software system, one possesses various functions including the introduction of gear vibration signals, signal processing, graphics display, fault detection and diagnosis, detecting and monitoring, which has the ability of diagnosing gear faults primely, has a considerable application foreground in the field of fault diagnosis.
