  • Abstract
    Based on the statistics in 2005 from 31 major provinces or regions in China released by national bureau of statistics of China, this paper applies grey relational analysis to analyze the efficiency of regional scientific and technological output. Firstly, the research method based on grey relational analysis is given. Secondly, on the basis of the studies on the efficiency of technological innovation, the evaluation index system for the efficiency of regional scientific and technological output is provided. Finally, the research result from the case study on the efficiency of regional scientific and technological output in China is put forward. Research result shows that this research method could provide valuable information for governments in making appropriate scientific and technological policies.
