Abstract :
Based on the data of the social science papers covered by China Social Science Citation Index, input-output data were processed by partial least squares (PLS) and performance of social science input-output by institutions, region in China provinces and discipline were compared. The results concern: The most important factor which can affect the output of domestic social science research is the various kinds of personnel who engaged in the social science research, especially the social science discipline personnel, the next is the input of various kinds of expenditure, this conclusion is exactly opposite with the technique fields of natural science; The input-output ratio of universities is higher than that of scientific research organizations.
