Abstract
Pig industry is the core of Chinese agriculture, so training and developing green suppliers for pig industry can contribute to the protection of agricultural environment, and ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products to raise the level of quality and efficiency of agricultural products. This article provides a three-tiered evaluation indicator system from four respects including supply chain management, quality safety, green breeding, and ecological environment, as well as the application method of the discrete hopfield neural network model applied in green suppliers evaluation. In addition, an evaluation model built by discrete hopfield neural network was used to evaluate eight pig suppliers of an enterprise. The study shows that selecting the evaluation model based on weights is reasonable and effective for evaluation and choice of green pig suppliers.
