Abstract :
Recently, great concerns about foreign direct investment have been mentioned with the emergence of some developing countries in the top ranks. The competition among countries for the attractiveness of FDI as the same time has also increased, especially among regions of the same geographical zone or even from one continent to another. This paper investigates foreign direct investment´ s attractiveness for both China and Africa as host countries by comparing them. With the effect of globalization, international comparability between countries especially to assess their foreign direct investment attractiveness is an indispensable and efficient method to identify the main factors underpinning the development of some host countries.
