    • Component reliability data can be collected for assessing past performance and predicting the future performance. • Consistent data collection is essential since it creates input data to reliability analysis of power systems. • The quality of component reliability data is of fundamental importance to the system reliability analysis. The uncertainty in the reliability data may affect the reliability calculations significantly.
