Abstract
Enel´s Power Distibution Network has approx. 2.000 HV/MV Primary Substations located nationally in urban, sub-urban, rural and industrial/commercial sites. Italian National Electrical Distribution Network Operation is assured by the 28 Operational Centres, that control network from remote, and then continuous presence of crew is not necessary. A video monitoring ad access control system is useful to improve the security and the maintenance of the plants.
