Abstract :
Six methods had been introduced and modeled in our previous publications [1] for designing PV system to supply pumping loads. These methods are applied for designing PV system to supply pumping set at a new reclaimed area of Egypt and resultant in different sizes of the PV system. Therefore, these methods must be optimized to develop the optimal ones. This optimization can be developed for pumping load application as a function of PV generation and the economy of this PV generation. Therefore, a proposed model has been introduced to evaluate the generation of different PV system design methods used for pumping applications. Also, an economical model has been introduced to assess the economy of PV generation of different PV system design methods. These models are applied numerically to develop the optimal ones of the study six design methods of PV system for pumping applications.
