Abstract :
Based on the analysis of the importance of the core attributes in the information system and the cost of getting core attribute by using discernibility matrix, this chapter gives a necessary and sufficient condition whether a set contains the core or not. By these algorithms and the superiority of database technology, it improves the methods of attribute reduction which already exists. According to the research that I have done, it takes less time and easier to achieve the smallest attribute reduction than the current methods based on memory, especially for the large-scale dataset.
