Abstract :
In multi-agent system (MAS), exception handling is a complex problem due to distributed and decentralized nature of data and control in such systems. The agent has some uncertainties because of its autonomy, which increases the issue of handle exception. This paper begins with the concept of cooperation among agents and the organization of agents in the MAS, based on which a domain-independent exception handling method is provided, including the exception detection, exception handling strategy and architecture. In this method, it allows system or agent provided exception handling service for exception handling. The work provides way of how to increase the reliability and availability of MAS in exception situations.
