Abstract :
BBO nanowires have been synthesized using a hydrothermal method followed by a post-sintering. XRD, SEM and TEM are carried out to demonstrate the structural characteristics. The results show that the products are well crystallized and have good morphology. Optical characteristics of the nanowires are investigated, which indicate that BBO nanowires have potential applications in optical waveguides and nanoscale nonlinear optical devices.
