Abstract :
A high frequency compensation technique is proposed by a T-resonator scheme on the submount for 40Gbit/s lumped electroabsorption modulated lasers (EMLs) package. Reflected microwave generated by the T-resonator enhances the electrical signal over the modulator, which can be controlled by the size of the T-resonator.
