  • Abstract
The influence of expansion of a pulse electric arc plasma on its decay is studied theoretically and experimentally. The deviation from local thermal equilibrium (LTE) is accounted. The dynamic of the ionization degree of the dense expanding plasma as well as the criterion of its non-equilibrium recombination are determined. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data on the examples of the pulse electric discharges in argon and helium.
