Abstract :
The contribution presents results of the computer experiment describing the interaction of low-temperature electropositive plasma with immersed metal substrates. The transport of electrons and ions is studied via computer experiment. The basic method of simulation was the self-consistent PIC-MC technique. This contribution analyses performance of computer codes prepared for the study of plasma-solid interaction in magnetized plasma in more dimensions. The prepared programs are applied to the analysis of probe diagnostics of slightly ionized low-temperature plasma and the possibilities of its application to the diagnostics of fully ionized edge plasma are discussed as well.
