The Innovation of the Design in Daily Ceramics

Daily ceramic design is called as "the trammeled art" or "the limited design" because of its special craft for quite a long time. People usually have a fixed mode of understanding to doing the design, once the special craft has developed as "experience". The article thinks that the core of design concept\´s innovation is the idea\´s renewal. The soul of design is innovation but not redundant, and the basic quality of designers is also innovation. The design innovation\´s process should be in such procedure, design core + thinking by perception and thinking by rationality. In the article we explore how daily ceramic make design innovation by negative thinking, in view of integer, association and challenging. It believes that creative design should break through ¿form follows function¿, challenge traditional ceramic craft and update design conception.
