Interactive Modeling of Data Warehouse on E-Business System

In this paper, formal language is used to describe the data warehouse model in order to confirm the significance of the data warehouse modeling. The design process of describing the data warehouse model is divided into five layers, including the identification of themes, build dimension tables and fact sheets, model mapping, metadata management, and build the index and design of process chart. On the concrete realization of the model, combined with a specific e-commerce systems to achieve various levels of functionality. The building process of data warehouse is showed on the web page, so to make modeling a more convenient and efficient. Further the system validation is finished through OLAP analysis.
