  • Abstract
This paper studies the control mechanism of a traffic network with multi-junction. In order to solve regional transportation problem with complex, strong stochastic features, more considerations focus on the mutual influence between junctions. Coordination control method based on multi-agent technology is proposed to process the coordination of district traffic when traffic jams occur, and a new specific control structure is designed in detail. On this basis, optimization based on genetic algorithm is used to readjust the signal control parameters including the cycle length, green split. Compared with the traditional timing control, through the preparation of program simulation with average delay as the indicators, the situation of network congestion is improved.
