  • Abstract
    Aiming at the problems of yarn and fabric simulation in woven fabric CAD system, the regular weaves and warp-backed weaves modeling is realized and the corresponding versatile algorithm is established. This modeling can automatically design the complex weaves with random ratio of warp and weft arrangement, and can automatically judge the covering-relation between surface and bottom intersection points of warp and weft. Adopting the method of parameter design and scanning, and considering fully fabric weaves, yarn number, yarn material, density of warp and weft yarns and the bend shape of interwoven warp and weft yarns, the yarn simulation model is set up, which can be applied to improve fabric simulation quality greatly and provide a direct and suitable new way of woven fabric simulation design.
