  • Abstract
This paper integrates the evaluation index system of sustainable development at home and abroad and calculates the technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the sustainable development ability of energy consumption of 30 provinces (autonomous regions) in China in 2007 with CCR, BCC, SBM, and Super-SBM models. The results show that the ability of most provinces in energy consumption fields is diminishing returns to scale. The energy consumption of China´s provinces and cities has been a critical state (that is extensive economic effect). Finally, the paper analyzes the invalid and super-effect unit grid through projection analysis and gives out some suggestions on regional energy consumption sustainable development.
