  • Abstract
In the paper, the DC controlled current source (DCCCS) is developed to simulate the DC component in the earth to study the ability of power transformer enduring the DC bias. The designed DC-bias experiment is applied to validate the effectiveness of the DCCCS. Experimental results show that the developed DCCCS works well and could provide the desirable and controlled direct current required by the DC-bias experiment of power transformer. With the relative high security and friendly interface, the developed DCCCS can be applied by the manufacturers and designers to better understand the electromagnetic transient process during the DC-bias experiment of power transformer and thus provide the better suggestions for the design and production of power transformer with relative high ability enduring the DC bias. This electronic document is a ¿live¿ template. The various components of your paper [title, text, heads, etc.] are already defined on the style sheet, as illustrated by the portions given in this document.
