Abstract :
New analytical method is put forward to improve the traditional analytical designing method of parallel indexing cam profile curve. New mathematical model of the parallel indexing cam profile curve was established through the application of transformation of homogeneous coordinates in the parallel indexing cam profile curve design. Mirror symmetrical assembly method of the parallel indexing cam was realized according to the slot which is located on bisector of the install phase angle. The method was verified by the experimental at last.
