  • Abstract
Human beings, now a day, have to work in an environment of electromagnetic waves and pulses. It has been accepted that these electromagnetic waves and pulses in some cases may cause disorder in human body. Hence persons working in electromagnetic environment must be protected from receiving harmful electromagnetic waves. Some standards have been published in some advance countries. When the waves or pulses emitted in the working environment exceed those limits, some arrangements should be made for absorbing or reflecting those. This paper deals with the design of protective items i.e. shields to protect human beings in most of the possible environment.
