Abstract

In the changing scenario of global market, Laboratory Accreditation is inevitable even for EMC Testing Laboratories to create confidence among their customers for availing EMC test services conforming to technically valid test data and results. This paper describes a systematic approach to EMC Test Laboratory Accreditation in compliance with quality system and technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. Extensive experience in implementation of ISO/IEC Guide 25 and EN 45001 has resulted in publication of new standard ISO/IEC 17025 as the replacement of both of them. This paper also outlines the salient features of ISO/IEC 17025, which were not addressed in ISO/IEC Guide 25 and EN 4500I.
