Abstract :
The gain-transfer method of antenna gain measurement assumes that the standard antenna offer its reference gain values in the given test environment. In this paper it is suggested that this need not necessarily be the case, and hence that using the reference values may lead to erroneous estimation of test antenna gains. A revised proposal is also presented.
