Abstract :
A capacitive plate antenna has been developed for transient pulse monitor (TPM) subsystem proposed to be introduced on GEO spacecraft. This antenna has been designed with the help of IE3D simulation tool. Optimized antenna has been developed and experimental results show that the antenna responds to the transient electromagnetic field simulated by ESD events.
